Yesterday I had a visitor from the states! Lauren was traveling around Spain and it just so happens that she ended up in Madrid when I was here. I met up with her and her friend and showed them around Madrid. Lauren and I have been friends since 8th grade and it was so great to be able to see her. We talked about high school friends and laughed about old inside jokes we had. It was just a relief to get that comforting piece of home here in Madrid.
Here is Lauren and I, it was so great that we got to hang out!
It is strange that although I have only been gone for a little over a week, it feels like I have been here for months. We all were amazed today when we realized that we have only been here for a week and a half. I thought the time was supposed to go quickly, not slowly, how strange!
